Printing Tips
Our STL files are designed to be easy to print, but different printers and slicers behave differently. Below are some basic tips to help you get started and avoid common issues.

1. Files wit+h Sta+mp + Cutter Combined+
Some of our digital downloads include one STL file where the stamp and cutter are combined as a single object.
This is intentional and very common in 3D printing.
If you prefer to print the stamp and cutter separately, you can easily split them in your slicer.
Ba+mbu Studio & Orca Sl+icer
-
Import the STL file into Bambu Studio
-
Right-click on the model
-
Select Split
-
Click To Objects
You will now have two separate parts (stamp + cutter), which you can move, rotate, or print individually.
PrusaSl+icer (a+nd other common s+l+icer+s)
-
Import the STL file
-
Right-click on the model
-
Select Split to Objects
(In some versions this may be under Split → Split to Objects)
Once split, you can position each part however you like on the build plate.
Splitting models is a very basic slicer function and something most 3D printers will need to use from time to time.
2. If a File Is “Floating” Above the Build Plate
Sometimes a file may import slightly above the bed instead of sitting flat. This is normal and easy to fix.
How to fix it:
-
Select the model
-
Use “Place on Build Plate” or “Drop to Bed” (wording varies by slicer)
-
Ensure the flat side is facing down
-
Rotate the model if needed until it sits flush
Before slicing, always double-check:
-
The model is flat
-
No part of the stamp or cutter is hovering above the plate
.
4. Important Support Information
Due to the wide variety of printers, filaments, slicers, and personal preferences:
-
❌ We cannot assist with individual print settings
-
❌ We do not provide slicer profiles
-
❌ We do not share how our files are created or engineered
Perfecting print settings takes time, testing, and experience, and every setup is different.
We’re always happy to help with:
-
File access issues
-
Download problems
-
Confirming what’s included in a digital file
